Debbie Parks received her Special Education degree from Millersville University and was trained as an Educational Therapist by the National Institute for Learning Development. She taught in a college-prep school in PA prior to beginning a private practice.
She is a Professionally Certified Educational Therapist, certified FIE Standard instructor, and is a certified Search and Teach instructor. She is a member of the International Dyslexia Association, International Reading Association, and Learning Disabilities Association. She has been serving children who are struggling in school, and their families, since 1983.
Debbie is experienced in working with students across all grade levels, Kindergarten through 12th grade. She understands that every student is unique, and specializes in designing a program tailored to fit the needs of each individual student.
Debbie is passionate about helping struggling learners succeed. She enjoys watching students grow in confidence as they realize their ability to learn. Believing that all children are a gift from God, she enjoys connecting with them on a personal level. She considers it a joy and honor to work with each student and to help guide them in learning how to learn, so they can achieve success.
